Are There Golf Schools For Women?
Today’s women find themselves pursuing many of the sports that were formerly thought of as “men’s sports”. As their desire for competition and the fact that a woman can do anything a man can do—perhaps better—increases, there must also emerge facilities to accommodate such desires and notions. Womens golf school obliges the passion that modern ladies have developed for acquiring unmatchable golfing skills. One such organization known as Play Golf America is dedicated to assuring that women learn to play a serious game of golf with all the confidence they need. They offer beginner’s programs such as PGA First Swing, Facility Orientation, and Link UP 2 Golf. There is a First Swing Golfer’s Guide that is available to assist ladies in their golfing techniques. This golfing facility offers group sessions for women only. This is relieving to some women because beginning lady golfers tend to feel more at ease when they are in golfing groups without men—It’s true that some men actually scoff at women attempting to play a “men’s sport” as well as a man. There are free programs and paid programs—either one seems to be good enough. If you are entering a womens golf school program, you should arrive dressed in the appropriate attire. Ladies should wear shorts that come at least to the middle of the thigh—they can be longer. Don’t wear jeans. Some facilities demand particular clothing according to regulations. When you arrive at a PFA facility , you check in, get your starting equipment ready—balls, ball markers, tees, and divot tool. You will probably be divided into groups with other ladies. Take precaution and consideration for others. Don’t interfere with the others players by slowing them down. If your group is being to pokey, let the next group play through. Remember that others paid for or took the time to be at this womens golf school also—always exhibit courtesy. Do not make noise or act in a distracting manner when someone else is making a shot. Some basic rules to follow on the golf course include—always yell “FORE” if you strike a ball and it is moving in the path of another player. If you need to make a repair of a damaged spike, ball marks, or divot, remember that ball marks and spikes are repaired on the greens and divots are repaired on the course. Be mindful of your language—not everyone appreciates profanity or vulgarity. Don’t put your bags on the putting green. Just make certain to be a lady and follow all rules of the game and the course—this is one major thing you should learn from womens golf school classes. Now, aside from PGA, there are other avenues to explore; but, relatively the same etiquette applies. The Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) is an organization determined to provide female golfers with the opportunities they deserve in learning proper golfing techniques and excelling in the sport. They will supply women with a friendly atmosphere, fun, and excitement while obtaining lasting skills. EWGA extends across the country, with over 100 local chapters. It doesn’t matter whether you are a beginner or an up and coming golfer the EWGA has a program to suit you at your current level. Who knows? You could advance to professionalism after acquiring excellent skills and techniques from a womens golf school organization. Press on with drive and determination towards outstanding performance, ladies!
